On this website, I hope to provide information on my current and past research.

I’m a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Lincoln and my current research is on dog behaviour and sensory perception with Prof Daniel Mills.

My focus is on canid behaviour and communication. I’m part of the long term collaboration, the Cooperative Predator research group, which is currently investigating wolf, dog, and coyote vocal behaviour.

I studied wolf howls and what they can communicate for my PhD at Nottingham Trent University, with the wonderful Dr Rik Yarnell.

I previously worked with Prof David Reby at the University of Sussex on dogs’ perception of speech, and before that with Dr Susan Parks at Syracuse University, where I was lucky enough to study North Atlantic right whale song and baby elephant development.

This site aims to give an overview of my past and current research, media appearances, and current studies including links to participation opportunities.
